CRUFTS – 9TH-12TH MARCH 2023, THE NEC BIRMINGHAM

Crufts is a huge dog event attracting hundreds of thousands of attendees over the four days it’s on. People travel from all over the country for the biggest dog show in the UK, so it’s a brilliant one to attend to raise brand awareness. It’s a busy event, and with 85% of visitors heading to check out the trade stands it’s well worth it!

PATS – 26TH-27TH MARCH 2023, SANDOWN

PATS is a trade only show, so ideal for networking and meeting retailers. There is the Sandown event in March and another in Telford in September. If you want to get in front of buyers and network, this is the one for you.

GROOMFEST – 16TH APRIL 2023, KENT

This event is for dog groomers and is free to attend. They provide educational opportunities and shopping for dog groomers at this event in Ardingley, Kent.

GOODWOOF – 20TH & 21ST MAY 2023, CHICHESTER

Goodwood goes Dog! Goodwoof is a 2 day event welcoming dog lovers in to enjoy having a go at fun dog activities, hear from expert behaviourists and vet professionals and to enjoy watching dog demonstrations.

PAWS IN THE PARK, VARIOUS DATES, KENT & SUSSEX

Paws In The Park run two fun dog events a year. The first takes place in Ardingley, West Sussex on the 20th and 21st May and the second in Detling, Kent on the 16th and 17th September 2023.

From agility to water sports, there’s loads for dog lovers to get involved in. Visitors can camp for the whole weekend and have a totally doggy filled weekend of fun and shopping.

THE GAME FAIR – 28TH-30TH JULY, RAGLEY HALL, WARWICKSHIRE

This is one for working dog enthusiasts – probably most suited to gundog trainers, dog food retailers, and any business targeting a working dog audience.

Previous exhibitors have included portrait artists so this event may suit local pet photographers and artists too.

EDITION DOG LIVE – 27TH AUGUST 2023, NAEC Coventry

Hosted by Edition Dog Magazine, this trade show is all about holistic dog care. From health and wellbeing to nutrition – this is THE trade show for pet professionals interested in reaching holistic hound owners.

MY ANXIOUS DOG STAND AT EDITION DOG TRADE SHOW

My Anxious Dog did a fabulous job of preparing their stand for maximum brand awareness at last year’s Edition Dog. Repurposing materials that we produced together for their #dogsinyellow national day meant that even if you didn’t visit their stand, you knew exactly what they’re all about!

BETA INTERNATIONAL, 10TH-11TH SEPTEMBER 2023, NAEC Coventry

This show is for pet, equestrian and country enthusiasts. This pet trade show is attended by buyers looking for new inspiring products, so if you’re looking to expand your audience, it’s worth a look!

From scentwork to parkour and agility, there’s loads for dog lovers to try at this dog event. There are professional displays and shows too, plus ample trade stands to get some dog shopping in!

DISCOVER DOGS – OCTOBER 2023, EXCEL LONDON

Discover Dogs is a lot of fun! Expect to meet lots of dog lovers at this one and prepare for extra fun as you get to meet LOTS OF DOGS!

From rare breeds to popular breeds, there is ample opportunity to meet them all. Plus fun dog shows to watch and plenty of stands to get some shopping in.

I attended last year with a client (Tug-E-Nuff), and it was a brilliant opportunity to meet lots of dog owners and find out more about what they’re interested in. This is not only a great chance to raise brand awareness, but to refine your messaging and discover what floats your target client’s boats!

LONDON VET SHOW – 16TH-17TH NOVEMBER 2023, EXCEL LONDON

This event is obviously mainly aimed at vets, but it could be a good opportunity if you offer products or services which compliment health. Such as supplements, orthopedic beds, dynamic dog practitioners, etc.

This is a series of outdoor dog events across the UK. 2023 sees DogFest taking place in Leicestershire, Surrey, Warwickshire, Cheshire, Bristol, Hertfordshire and Yorkshire. This is a really popular dog events with owners, they have the opportunity to try out various dog activity, watch shows and of course, shop!
